1. What is the MediaRing Enterprise Service?

The MediaRing Enterprise is a subscription-based service that allows users to make free, unlimited on-net intra-company calls (both ways), be it for telephone or for fax, and at the same time enjoy low international off-net rates from the MediaRing global network that spans more than 240 destinations worldwide.

2. What benefits can I expect from using MediaRing Enterprise?

With MediaRing Enterprise, users enjoy substantial cost savings from international call charges. For a flat fee per month, your calls to your overseas offices are absolutely free. You pay only as you use on calls to the rest of the world. There is no need for new capital expenditures, and your investment in your existing telephony system will be protected.

3. Will it work with my existing telephone system?

MediaRing Enterprise works on most enterprise telephony systems, such as PABX and key-phone systems.

4. Will the voice quality be good?

Voice quality is a function of bandwidth and network condition. Our in-house studies have shown that the Forward Error Recovery (FER) technique, a MediaRing innovation, dramatically increases the tolerance for packet loss.

5. How do I know the number of ports I need?

During the deployment planning phase, our Deployment specialists will assist you with network monitoring and site readiness assessment, in order to derive a suitable configuration. Typically, depending on individual needs, most of our customers start from 4 or 8 ports.

6. Do I have to buy the MediaRing Enterprise equipment?

No. You do not need to purchase any MediaRing Enterprise equipment from us. The equipment will be provided as part of our service during the subscription term.
